چکیده

This paper presents an overall view about the most common methods for implementing task schemes for process control from the operating system point of view as well as from the Occam point of view. They are discussed and compared in a comparative study. In addition the best known development platforms He-lios, ParC, Inmos Toolsets and Parix are introduced. Their signiicant features are presented and compared in a detailed comparative study focussing the advantages and disadvantages of each development platform with respect to its usefulness in distributed program design. The presented study is addressed to all developers who intend to design distributed software for their transputer based architecture and who are on the outlook for a programming platform that almost suits their needs.

Distributed Programming Developing Tool Based on Distributed Object Group Framework

We are to suggest the GUIs of Distributed Programming Developing Tool(DPD-Tool) based on the Distributed Object Group Framework (DOGF). The 3 GUIs we implemented are the user interfaces between the DOGF and distributed program developers. In this paper, we explain first of all the DOGF and distributed programming tool we developed before. And then, for convenient development of distributed appl...

A Comprehension-Based Database Language and Its Distributed Execution

This paper describes a way to noticeably reduce the description cost of database operations executed in distributed computing environments by design of a novel declarative language to describe database operations, development of program transformation techniques to improve e ciency at execution time, and clari cation of prerequisites to execute the programs in distributed computing environments...

A Knowledge-based Scientiic Parallel Programming Environment 5.2 System Overview and Operation the Notion of a Skeleton

Distributed memory parallel systems are still lacking simple and economic pro-grammability. In this paper, we explain why, to our understanding, currently existing, rst generation tools and environments for distributed memory parallel processor systems are insuf-cient. We rst analyze both the proole and the requirements of the scientiic programmer's community. Then we derive the general design ...

A Robust Distributed Estimation Algorithm under Alpha-Stable Noise Condition

Robust adaptive estimation of unknown parameter has been an important issue in recent years for reliable operation in the distributed networks. The conventional adaptive estimation algorithms that rely on mean square error (MSE) criterion exhibit good performance in the presence of Gaussian noise, but their performance drastically decreases under impulsive noise. In this paper, we propose a rob...

Modules, Objects and Distributed Programming: Issues in RPC and Remote Object Invocation

Distributed programming can be greatly simplified by language support for distributed communication, such as that provided by remote procedure call (RPC) or remote object invocation. This paper examines design and implementation issues in these systems, and focuses on the influence of the communication system on a distributed program. To make the discussion concrete, we introduce a single appli...
